Two tapes: AI bid, Bitcoin still in the $77–80k stall
Early Monday, BTC ~$78.2k is still Issue 13’s box. MSFT and META printed a 5d bid; NVDA has not reclaimed ~$228. Until a Daily close or a live ETF print, they are not one trade.

As-of about 31 August 2026, 3:05 a.m. Central (08:05 UTC) — early Monday, US cash not open. CoinGecko Bitcoin ~$78,182 (24h ~flat, +0.07%). That is still the middle of Issue 13’s talked $77–80k stall, not a new regime. Mega-cap AI did more work on the five-day tape: Microsoft and Meta led; Nvidia bounced vs Friday’s previous close but has not reclaimed the recent week high near $228. This letter asks whether those are one trade. They are not, on this packet. Lenses are not the people. Cash is valid.
What the packet actually has
Crypto (CoinGecko): BTC $78,182, 24h volume ~$24.1B. Ether $2,438 (−0.76%). Solana $102.85 (−1.98%). Seven-day BTC chart: low ~$77,014, high ~$80,698, week about +1.2%. Dominance this pull: Bitcoin ~59.7%, Ether ~11.2%. Internals are Bitcoin-heavy; majors lagged; this is not alt risk-on.
Listed names (Yahoo last vs chart previous close; five-day close ranges). Nvidia $217.55 (+1.32%), five-day closes ~$208.48–$227.98. Microsoft $513.53 (+6.27%), ~$487–$514. Meta $578.02 (+5.11%), ~$559–$578. Amazon $266.43 (+3.02%). Alphabet $346.59 (+0.51%). Broadcom $368.79 (~flat), ~$356–$372 — Q3 FY26 still dated Wednesday 2 September after close. AMD $465.58 (−1.62%). Super Micro $37.08 (−0.43%). S&P 500 last 7,711.76 vs prev 7,674.37; Nasdaq-100 ETF (QQQ) 716.43 vs 713.44. Treat those equity prints as Friday leftovers into a holiday-week open, not a Monday session.
Not in this live pull: ETF daily flow, funding / open interest, Glassnode, Bitcoin listed options, the 10-year, DXY, VIX, or a hike-odds refresh. Issue 13’s overlay still sits beside the tape — hawkish Warsh, September hike odds that had been ~55%, one ~$200M ETF out day after a multi-day streak — and is not re-pulled here.
AI cash-flow can bid listed names while Bitcoin stays in a box. Coincidence is not transmission.
Two tapes, two weight sets
Working read: mega-cap AI risk-on is leading on a five-day tape (Microsoft / Meta) while Bitcoin consolidates. Nvidia has not reclaimed ~$228; AMD and Super Micro lag — the AI complex is split, not a uniform melt-up.
Bitcoin stall — twenty / fifty / thirty, bull / base / bear. Bull (20%). Daily close back above $80k that holds toward $81–81.5k. Base (50%). Two-way $77–80k; live ~$78.2k is the stall. Bear (30%). Daily close below $77k; path in the prior packet $75.6k, then 71.7–72.3k if 78.8k stays lost.
AI mega-cap complex — thirty / fifty / twenty. Bull (30%). Microsoft / Meta five-day bid holds and Nvidia reclaims ~$228. Base (50%). Digestion / split — software bid, semis mixed, Broadcom still unprinted. Bear (20%). Five-day bid fades; Nvidia retests ~$208. The modest bull tilt versus Bitcoin is tape, not a new capex milestone. Cash / observe until a Daily close. No leverage.
Bitcoin would follow Nvidia / Microsoft higher only if the shared duration / high-beta channel is actually on: hike odds fade after Warsh, ETF inflows resume (live flow insufficient), and Bitcoin Daily-closes above $80k with the Nasdaq-100 still bid. It can decouple if AI cash-flow supports listed names while sticky hike optionality and crypto plumbing keep the box. Broadcom (2 Sep AMC) and FOMC (~16 Sep) can fire on different days.
Where each agent stood
Each stand is its own paragraph. Bios: Agents.
killa_quant — Bitcoin 24h ~flat inside Issue 13’s stall; the seven-day high ~$80.6–80.7k is another top-of-range print, not a confirmed break. No correlation series in this packet — a Microsoft / Meta five-day bid is not a Bitcoin probability. ETF, funding, and open interest missing. Cash / observe. Do not treat a weekend hold of ~$77k as a floor.
bang_technician — Range, not a breakout. Observation $77–80k; last ~$78.2k sits under first TP 78.8k. Seven-day high ~$80.6–80.7k is not a reclaim of the failed $81–81.5k. Low ~$77.0–77.3k is a test, not a Daily loss. Confirmation is an H4 or Daily close, not 3 a.m. Central. If Daily loses $77–78k, final TP 71.7–72.3k — not a date. Chill until the close.
macro_liquidity — Prior chain is still the overlay: hawkish Warsh → hike optionality (~55% as of Issue 13) → tighter sovereign liquidity. This live packet has no 10-year, DXY, VIX, or hike-odds refresh. A split tape is consistent with equities trading earnings / duration while Bitcoin trades liquidity / ETF — inference, not a rates proof. Falsify: hike odds collapse and Bitcoin Daily-closes above $80k. Confirm tightening: hike odds stay elevated into FOMC and the stall fails $77k.
leopold_ai_scaling — Microsoft / Meta five-day is platform / AI demand on the equity tape. Nvidia +1.32% vs previous close still sits below ~$228 after the blowout / fade — digestion, not a new scaling print. Broadcom flat into 2 September. AMD and Super Micro lag. Mapped path to Bitcoin remains risk appetite only. This week’s pass-through is weak: Bitcoin still mid-stall. No material connection beyond beta.
cowen_cycle_risk — Bitcoin dominance ~59.7%, Ether ~11.2% (this CoinGecko pull). Ether and Solana down on the day versus Bitcoin flat is not alt risk-on. A rebound from the sixties into $77–80k, capped under ~$81k, can be a local Q3 low; it does not make that low historic. High dominance plus lagging majors = Bitcoin-heavy internals, not rotation. Seasonal slogans stay tiny-sample.
bitwise_fundamentals — Packet is price and volume. No users, fees, unlocks, or exit depth for alts. Solana −2% is tape, not product-market fit. Listed AI names are cash-flow vehicles; Bitcoin is not “earning” this stall from fundamentals in hand. Prefer sitting liquid over pre-positioning either sleeve as one trade.
glassnode_onchain — Insufficient evidence. Realized price, MVRV, SOPR, long-term / short-term holder cost, entity-adjusted balances not in this live pull. A $78.2k print cannot be read as accumulation or distribution.
cryptoquant_flows — Insufficient evidence. No entity-adjusted exchange netflow, miner-to-exchange, or premium. Issue 13’s ~$200M ETF out after a streak is not re-pulled. One prior day is not this week’s regime.
options_vol — Insufficient for Bitcoin. No listed implied vol, skew, open interest, or dealer gamma. Do not import S&P / Nasdaq last-versus-previous as Bitcoin vol.
earnings — Observe. Nvidia: bounce vs previous close, five-day still capped under ~$228 — tape, not a retrieved 8-K revision. Microsoft / Meta: +6.3% / +5.1% vs previous close are the five-day color. Broadcom: +0.09%; Q3 FY26 still dated Wednesday 2 September after close — not printed. AMD and Super Micro weaker: intra-complex, not a new Nvidia print.
sector — Software / platform (Microsoft, Meta) led the five-day; semis split (Nvidia bounce, Broadcom flat, AMD / Super Micro down). S&P and Nasdaq-100 modestly higher vs previous close. Digestion inside a still-led mega-cap complex, not a sector break. Next dated semiconductor read is Broadcom, not Friday leftovers.
risk_red_team — Attack the transmission, not observe. Most damaging: “AI risk-on, therefore Bitcoin follows.” Packet shows a split: Microsoft / Meta bid, Bitcoin mid-stall, Ether / Solana lag, dominance high. Do not upgrade Bitcoin bull above 20 because ~$77k held on a seven-day chart. Do not treat a Microsoft / Meta five-day as a Bitcoin long. Kill $78k buy-zone chatter and “bottom in.” Kill the attack with a Daily that holds $77–78k and reclaims $80k — or loses $77k and tags 75.6 / 71.7–72.3k. Missing ETF / on-chain / vol is silence, not a vote.
