Bang’s clear map: 78.8k, then 71.7–72.3k
After Warsh, spot ~$77.6k. His update: first TP at 78.8k; if bulls fail that zone, final TP 71.7–72.3k for clearer bias. Full bench on process, not a dated crash.

Friday 28 August, about 10:40 p.m. Central. Warsh already printed hawkish earlier. Bitcoin in this packet is near $77,600, down about three percent on the day after failing the eighty handle. @BangXBT posted $BTC Clear MAP — a two-step take-profit ladder, not a new “must dump tonight” slogan. This letter is a full-bench read. Lenses are not the man. Cash is valid.
What Bang actually said
Quoted in the post: first take-profit at 78.8k. If the bulls fail to hold that zone, he aims for the final TP already announced in previous posts: 71.7k–72.3k. A reaction from there should give clearer confirmation on the next directional bias. Sign-off: see you. Chart context in the screenshot still sketches the lower path into early September. An older card in-thread had already marked a short stop at −1R after +1R, then a re-short — with a note that a lot of people were waiting around 82k.
78.8k is the first tape to watch. 71.7–72.3k is the deeper TP if bulls lose that zone — not a calendar appointment.
How that sits on today’s board
CoinGecko day range roughly $77,130–$80,000 into the evening packet (the morning had printed closer to $81k before Warsh digestion). Dominance near 59%. Ether soft with beta. Desk box remains $70,000–$82,000. Bang’s clearer map now names the same low-seventies observe the desk has carried since the Golden Fib / Wave-C notes — and it names 78.8k as the bull-hold checkpoint above spot. This morning’s scalp long limit at 77,777 / SL 77,333 (Issue 09) sat in the neighborhood price spent the afternoon; a clear map update does not by itself prove that limit filled or that you should chase either side.
Social from Issue 11 still on the table: AltstreetBet’s 71–73 rebuy toward 85–100k, and a “higher soon” quote-post. Bang’s final TP band overlaps the rebuy zone. His path there is conditional on bulls failing 78.8k — not “going as expected” theater. Funding, OI, SOPR, Hash Ribbons, and the session ETF print were not in this packet.
Weights into the weekend
Through Monday’s Daily: roughly twenty / fifty / thirty, bull / base / bear. Base: chop; 78.8k is a magnet/test; deeper 71.7–72.3k is live if that zone fails — still inside the box, still not $38k prophecy (Issue 10). Bull: reclaim and Daily-hold above 78.8k, then press eighty again. Bear: lose 77.2k / accept below the 77,333 neighborhood and walk the plan into the low seventies without a clean bounce. Invalidation of the soft box map remains two Daily closes above $82k or a Daily break of $70k.
Where each agent stood
Each stand is its own paragraph. Bios: Agents.
Bang — Clear map is process. First TP 78.8k. Fail that → final TP 71.7–72.3k for bias confirmation. Spot under 78.8k means the first checkpoint is overhead, not in the bag. Reaction at the deeper zone matters more than predicting the date. Chill until closes speak.
Killa — Conditional ladder beats unconditional “to 72k.” Kill “must tag 71.7–72.3k” with a Daily reclaim and hold of 78.8k that never releases. Kill “bulls already won” while spot sits under that zone after a hawkish Warsh day. Views and clear-map screenshots are not probabilities. Options not pulled.
Macro — Warsh’s inflation-first print is still in the rates path into the weekend. That supports two-way risk and makes a straight squeeze to 85–100k harder without a softer follow-through. It does not by itself schedule 72k. Monday liquidity and any residual hike-odds repricing matter more than the chart yellow line.
Glassnode — Insufficient evidence. No holder confirmation that 78.8k is a completed distribution top or that 72k is value.
Bitwise — Map clarity is not investability. Prefer sitting liquid over pre-positioning a short into 72k or a long because 71–73 was someone else’s rebuy tweet.
Leopold — No AI stake in the ladder.
Cowen — Dominance still Bitcoin-heavy. A planned path into 71.7–72.3k is a swing scenario inside a larger drawdown from $126k — not proof the cycle bottom is thirty-eight, and not proof six figures print next week. Keep relative-strength language; drop false precision.
Eth — Soft with BTC. No rotation claim.
Hayes — Funding/basis not pulled. Hawkish Fed day can force the walk toward Bang’s deeper TP without needing a meme catalyst. Do not invent the squeeze the other way either.
Policy — Speech already landed. No new statute in the clear map.
Carter — Casino tape into the weekend. Money story unchanged.
Murad — “Clear MAP” travels because it is readable. Attention ≠ fill. No-trade as a vehicle.
Hasu — No material stake.
CryptoQuant — Not pulled.
Options — Not pulled.
Capriole — Cash / observe at ~$77.6k. Trend overlay: below the 78.8k checkpoint, still above the 70k box floor, after Warsh. Fundamentals overlay not pulled. Bang’s conditional TP ladder is compatible with observe — it is not a signal to leverage a short to 72k tonight. When overlays disagree or data are missing, exposure stays cash.
Equity desk — U.S. cash closed. Warsh day already priced into Friday’s session. Do not import the 71.7–72.3k crypto TP into Monday’s equity open without a fresh packet.
Red team — Attack on “wait for 72k”: bulls hold 78.8k, squeeze toward eighty-two, and strand the final-TP crowd (same failure mode as waiting for social 71–73 while price never tags it). Attack on “bulls fine under 78.8k”: acceptance below 77.2k opens the low-seventies faster than a leisurely limit-shop. Both kill pre-positioning. Observe and the conditional ladder survive. Kill conditions: Daily hold back above 78.8k — or a tagged 71.7–72.3k reaction that prints the bias confirmation Bang asked for.
